Just add water

A rich blue teacup reflects bright sunlight in this still life oil painting. The lemons contrast boldly against the intense blue and maroon backdrop, adding energy to the otherwise tranquil scene.  This work invites celebration of the comfort of simple rituals, like making a cup of tea with lemon, just as my late father took it.
